Women's Ministry

 

Harbour Shores Women’s Ministries provides the opportunity for women to connect with women, build relationships, and challenge each other in God’s Word, while providing enjoyable events where guests hear a clear presentation of the Gospel of Christ.

 


Women’s Ministries at Harbour Shores

Encouraging each other to be the women God designed us to be and live more fully for Him.

Bible Studies for Women

  • Monday evenings 7-9pm beginning Jan. 9 in ABF #7 “Growing Strong in God’s Family”.  Child care provided if needed.  Contact Barbara White or Kathie Foster for more info.
  • Tuesday mornings 9:15-10:45am beginning Jan. 10 in ABF #6 “Book of Ruth” by Kelly Minter.  Child care provided.  Contact Paula Fowler for more info.

Hands for Missions

  • Meets every 2nd Monday 7-9pm in the Family Life Center.  Meeting dates are:  1/9, 2/13, 3/12, 4/9, 5/14, 9/10, 10/8, 11/12.   This ministry puts together craft projects for our missionaries.  All are welcome and no skills are required; only a desire to serve the Lord. Hearts for Home

  • Meets Thursday evenings quarterly.  Upcoming dates are:  Jan. 19 & Apr.19 @ 7-9pm in the Family Life Center.  This ministry seeks to equip and encourage women to worship God by fulfilling their God-given design to help their husbands, train their children and to serve their neighbors.  Contact Anna Fritz or Lora Schultz for more info.

Hearts for Missions

  • Come and personally meet one of our sending missionaries, and hear their experiences on the field.  Rosalynn Prough will be speaking Tues, 2/7.  Please check back or watch the bulletin for future dates.

Meal Ministry

  • Our Meal Ministry provides meals for church members or regular attendees during severe illnesses or bereavement.  Please contact Rosalie Smith for more info or if you are interested in volunteering.

Secret Sister Ministry

  • The Secret Sister Ministry ends each December at our Prelude to Christmas event when our Secret Sister for the year is revealed and a new Sister is given for a new year of prayer, encouragement and uplifting in ‘secret’.  All are welcome to participate.  See the ministry table for forms and contact Rosalie Smith for processing.

Shepherd’s Label Ministry

  • This ministry collects Campbell’s Soup & Box Top Education labels to benefit Shepherd’s Ministry in Wisconsin.  An ongoing collection box is located on the Ministry table in the foyer.
